This year, Helping Handfelt Craft had the incredible opportunity to participate in the WOW – Women of the World Festival 2081 in Kathmandu, an event dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women across Nepal and beyond.
Our dedicated team proudly set up a booth that showcased a wide variety of handmade felt products—from cozy slippers and stylish bags to colorful accessories and charming holiday items. Visitors from all walks of life were amazed by the craftsmanship, the stories behind the products, and the social impact behind every item.
More than just a marketplace, the festival was a space for connection and conversation. Our artisans, many of whom had never attended such events before, confidently interacted with visitors, shared their journeys, and spoke about their role in building Helping Handfelt from the ground up.
The participation in WOW 2081 was not only a commercial success, but also a powerful affirmation of our mission: to empower women through skill, independence, and creativity. It reminded us that every thread of felt we craft carries the thread of change, stitched by hands that once felt invisible—but now, shine on platforms that recognize their worth.
